FAQ
What vaccinations are required? Dogs are required to be current on Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Paracanine Influenza. Cats should be current on Rabies. It is preferred that they are also vaccinated against Feline Leukemia and HIV. These vaccinations are required not only for the safety of your pet but also for the safety of other pets under Busy Bark's care.
Why are M-F afternoon rates cheaper than morning/evening rates and weekend rates? The bulk of clients use Busy Bark Services during the work week in the afternoon, so rates are cheaper during those times.
How do I know someone actually came to my house? We will leave a report telling you how your pet did during his/her visit. You can also request for texts or email updates as well.
Should I tip? While tips are greatly appreciated, it is not required or expected from any customer.
Can you pick up my mail/newspapers and water my plants while I am away? We can definitely make your house looked lived in while you are gone. Picking up mail, watering plants, switching lights, etc. can all be done if we are watching your pet for you.
What happens if my pet has an emergency? For illness and minor emergencies you will be notified and your pet will be taken to his/her vet clinic if needed. For life threatening emergencies your pet will be taken to his/her vet or the closest 24 hour emergency animal hospital immediately. We will do our best to notify you as soon as possible. It is best to have your credit card info on file at your vet’s office. You will be responsible for reimbursing Busy Bark for all charges incurred.
Do you have references? Yes, references are available on request.
